Jim Shreve, aka Gemon Hammersmythe, is a completely self-taught programmer. He started using computers at the age of 12. Within a year, he was writing little programs in BASIC, as well as doing just about anything else he could on the computer. Eventually he bought Turbo Pascal 6.0 from a local computer store. The rest, as they say <or in this case type>, is history.
Chris Mitchell, aka Reality I. Lovely, is basically self-taught also, though he did have some training in high school. He, too, started with BASIC, working his way up to Pascal, as well as C++.
You can get info about Elicia Shreve on Arania's Home.
Chris & Jim met up in the early 90's. They quickly discovered they had a mutual interest in computers, particularly programming and BBS's. PsYcHo'Z-R-Us was born shortly thereafter, though at first they were most known for causing trouble. We ran two BBS's in Ashtabula County, until the internet became very popular. On 3-1-1997 we became officially known as Simple Software, unofficially. It was during this time, Elicia came into the picture. In May of 1999, we received our domain, which precipitated the name change to Psyko Software, as our previous name was already taken. We gave up the domain after two years. We both have full-time jobs, in addition to our collective programming. We are skilled in several programming languages, and have the ability to aim our software at a variety of platforms. Right now we're working on a CRPG based in the hero setting. In October of 2002, we moved everything over to this current server.
