Circumstances brought the team known as Atlanta Heroez to the area. They were referred to investigate the news of gang activity in the area, as well as at the heeding of Adam Long, who felt something was amiss in the area. Quickstrike & Mike Potts quickly fell under the influence of the The Voice. Prowler too came under the control of the Voice. The group eventually managed to stop the plans of the Voice, when Rock Monster summoned the Silence. Sirocco called on the Council of Twelve, apparently banishing the Voice again to the nether again.

Unknown to the Council of Twelve and the Heroez, the Voice found a new host in the form of Prowler. It layed low for a little while, as Prowler slowly infected the local media, local police, the Iron Five, and Grady Memorial Hospital. The Heroez were asked by the CDC and the US Government to deal with it, again. To that ends, the Heroez and the Suicide Squad were sent into the Marietta, Georgia, which is where the Voice was believed to be. It is not known what has come of the Voice now, but by the time the Heroez and the Suicide Squad caught up with Prowler at his homeless shelter, he was no longer the Speaker. The group battled the Elements to a draw.

It has been hypothesized that Talisman, the Chaos Sorceress who served on the Council of Twelve, gave the Speaker from Flowery Branch the means to summon the Voice. Talisman is also believed to be the one who channeled the Voice into Prowler, just as it is also suspected that she has somehow channeled the Voice into yet another new host body, leaving Prowler to deal with both the Elements and the Heroez.
