| HISTORY: Simone's father is the
original Vindicator, Canada's premier hero. Her mother died giving birth to her. As the
daughter of Vindicator, Simone Hudson grew up on military bases, living on 13 bases in 8
years. At the age of 9, her powers were discovered. Shortly thereafter foes of her father
captured her in their plot to kill Vindicator. Alpha Flight, however, saved the young
Simone. Michael Hudson, not wanting his daughter used against him, sent her to live with
relatives in Cleveland, Ohio. Simone lived in Ohio for a while, eventually joining the
United States Air Force, when she got word that her father was killed in action. She had a
strong desire to follow in the path of her father and became Nip. Nip eventually joined
the LEGION, as did her boyfriend, Magnum. Nip served well
with the LEGION, until their disappearance in the winter of 1991. |

| PERSONALITY: Simone Hudson had a
thirst for high adventure and was always someone who took risks. The risks sometimes got
her in over her head, but Simone would always be first in line for a new challenge. |
