1> Mental Probe: She can probe targets with Gd10 intensity.
2> Telekinesis: She can move things telekinetically with Rm26 Intensity. She has
developed a stunt whereby, she can shoot telekinetic bolts at targets either causing them
to float, or causing Rm26 damage.
3> Telepathy: Her greatest ability, by far, is her telepathy. She can use it with Mn63
intensity. She has developed a stunt whereby she can plant thoughts into targets. She does
so with Mn63 ability, but can only do so if the target is willing or does not make a
psyche feat against her.
4> Mental Transference: She has developed a stunt whereby she can mentally swap bodies
with either a willing or unwilling target, though she rarely uses it. She prefers to
remain in control of her own body at all time. An unwilling target must make a Psyche feat
against a Mn63 power rank to avoid swapping bodies with Lynne. When inhabiting another's
body, she retains her mental powers as well, and would gain any physical powers her new
body might have. |

| HISTORY: Alexandra grew up on a
modest vineyard in central France. She was one of three girls. Alex, as she is called by
friends and family, and Ariela were twins. She has another sister, Andrea. Alex and Ariel,
though identical, were ordinary in every way (brown hair, brown eyes, average size) until
their 12th birthday. On their 12th birthday, they woke up to find themselves drastically
different. Ariela suddenly had black hair and eyes, while Alexandra had white hair, and
pale blue (almost white) eyes. Alex soon discovered she could sense the thoughts of
others. Ariela also had "abilities" but refused to divulge them. At school a
few weeks later, Alex discovered her telekinetic abilities when bullies was picking on her
and her sister. Strangely a large back dog seemed to appear out of nowhere to protect Alex
and her sister. Because of all the trouble, they were sent to a private school in Ohio.
After they graduated, they applied and became US citizens.
Alex was approached by Mr. Madison as the first new recruit of LEGION, adopting the
name Mentallis. She readily accepted, and tried unsuccessfully to recruit her sister also.
When she was charged by the US Government with a bombing at JFK Airport in New York on
Aug. 27, 1991, her sister temporarily joined the LEGION (as Wraith).
Lynne was exonerated with the help of the Martian Manhunter, and rejoined the team. She
and Scarlet Speaker were a serious couple.
The end for the LEGION came in 1993. In January they were forced to turn over thier
mansion and base to the Rapture. Kord Inc. had to pull the plug on funding the team in May
1993. Mr. Madison stayed on with Kord Inc. October 1993 saw the murder of Wraith, as she
left a note for Lynne warning her that someone was after her as well. In December, the few
remaining members formally disbanded the team. Scarlet Speaker took a teaching position in
California, leaving Lynne alone for the first time in a while. To protect herself she
adopted the name Lynne.
In late 1995, Mr. Madison took a position with Task Force X. In early 1996, he invited
Lynne to become a field agent for the organization. She readily accepted, intending to
change things from within. When Mr. Madison retired in 1998, he hand-picked Lynne as his
personal replacement. Seeing a chance to be in a better position to change things, Lynne
again readily accepted the offer.
She is still serving as a Field Superviser of Domestic Operations for Task Force X,
having several agents working under her. |
