From FATE OF CHAOS, Scarlet Speaker, in his introductory solo, was dispatched by Dr. Fate to close a portal that was leaking magical energy into our dimension. Speaker found the portal without too much trouble. However, he also found two other beings, Black Masque & Gabriel. Both first appearances which are continuing to haunt the LEGION.

She weighs what you guess to be 200 lbs, and is a short 5 and a half feet tall. She is wearing black robes, and a black headband.

[ShadowWalkyr]: Hell. I drop to the ground and move the Masque behind me again. Then I grab the gem with TK and shove it through the portal.
[Marvel GM]: Gabriel is still waiting for her to wake up the rest of the way so you won initiative that round.

[Marvel GM]: The portal is a swirling enrgy mass, you cannot make out the other side, as it is very blurry. (Think SLIDERS)
[Marvel GM]: As the gem passes through the portal, you can sense the energy returning to it's home dimension. The portal starts crackling loudly. It seems to also be draining power from you, and the female mage. As you collapse, you see her also collapsing from the drain.
[Marvel GM]: Course she was already collapsed... but rememeber this was cut and paste...
[ShadowWalkyr]: Great. Now I'm moving quickly away from the portal and keeping the Masque away from Gabriel.

From Q & A, Firelance was captured in the previous session when the Suicide Squad had raided the mansion's computer systems. He was then taken to a holding cell while the LEGION tried to decipher what happened to their computer systems. What follows is the text as the LEGION tried to get the bomb off the arm of Firelance after he woke up.

[Marvel Judge]: "Well, let's see what they did with it, and worry later about how they did it."

[Marvel Judge]: You couldn't make it out from behind the door.
[Scarlet Speaker]: What's he saying now.
[Marvel Judge]: He's just looking at you all currently.
[Scarlet Speaker]: "So. You're awake. Care to explain your actions?"
[Marvel Judge]: "I'm not saying anything until you remove this." He lifts up his left arm. There appears to be a glove on it, that goes all the way up his elbow.
[Mentallis]: and what is that?
[Marvel Judge]: "This thing is a bomb. If you remove it I will gladly cooperate with you. It is not my goal in life to go around with only one arm."
[Mentallis]: how long until it goes off?
[Marvel Judge]: "This thing is attuned to me. They can detonate it via remote control anywhere in the world. As such they also know whereever I am. If it is removed in the wrong way, KABOOM. If it is detonated via remote, KABOOM. If it looks like I'm about to run, KABOOM. If I am captured by enemy agents, KABOOM. KABOOM is not my idea of a good time. "
[Scarlet Speaker]: "Take off your armor."
[Marvel Judge]: "As such no is no time before it goes off, it can go off anytime."
[Mentallis]: well guys, what do we do?
[Marvel Judge]: Firelance removes his facemask to reveal his face. "My knowledge of this bomb is very limited, but I was told when they put it on, that if I try to remove it, it will explode. Just how am I to remove my armor without removing the bomb? My smart guy hero?" he says sarcastically.
[Scarlet Speaker]: "Assume he's telling the truth. . .we can't take the chance." I examine the arm.
[Mentallis]: is it possible to remove your fuel tanks without triggering the bomb?
[Marvel Judge]: "My fuel tanks are not connected to the bomb. The bomb is connected to me."
[Mentallis]: then first we remove the tanks
[Scarlet Speaker]: "How is it connected to you? Bio-monitors?"
[Marvel Judge]: "Do you see any tanks on me? The fuel flows through me, so to speak. In order to remove the tanks I must remove my armor. I remove my armor, I remove the bomb. I remove the bomb I go KABOOM."
[Marvel Judge]: BTW, you see no fuel tanks externally on him.
[Mentallis]: that is what i asked in the first place.........
[Scarlet Speaker]: "You seem to be stuck on the KABOOM concept. Don't think about KABOOM. That's negative thinking."
[Mentallis]: would they make an attempt to retrieve you before setting off the bomb?
[Marvel Judge]: As I said my knowldge of the bomb is very limited. I was told it was attuned to me, so it's possible that it is bio-linked somehow."
[Marvel Judge]: "They make us wear them to keep us in line, make sure we don't run away."
[Scarlet Speaker]: "It's at times like this I wish I was an engineer."
[Marvel Judge]: I have never seen them activate a bomb, but I have seen the ramifications of one. The poor guy didn't have an arm. Can we please hurry this up."

[Scarlet Speaker]: I want to use the energy in my TK spell to wrap the around the glove and inside the glove and outside the armor to absorb the explosion. After that, toss it to the end of the cells and take cover.
[Mentallis]: daytime would have to do the removal and throwing, and throw out
[Scarlet Speaker]: Hope he's fast.
[Mentallis]: if he couldn't make the buffer move fast enough....cast it on us instead of the glove
[Marvel Judge]: um to get it in between the armor and the internal of the glove will require a feat.

From WHAT GOES UP. . . , Plasticide's solo took him by plane from Cleveland to Detroit to meet a contact. Unfortunately, he was more than slightly paranoid, especially after I told him the title of the session. This is a classic example of how players always find something unexpected to do. Needless to say I was winging this one most of the way..

[Marvel Judge]: As you board the plane you realize that you are seated in business class, very near the rear of the plane. Something that caught your eye was the cold greeting the steward (host) gave you when you entered the plane.
[Plasticide]: I go out of the plane.
[Plasticide]: I can catch another one.
[Plasticide]: I don't like this.
[Marvel Judge]: "Is there a problem sir?"
[Plasticide]: "My wife is having a baby, premature, I will have to get another plane," I say going out of the plane.

[Plasticide]: 'now I got to buy new clothes in Detroit,' I think.
[Marvel Judge]: She hands you your boarding pass and ID. She tells you the flight will be departing from Concourse C, Gate 23."

[Plasticide]: I run to the gate to catch the plane.
[Marvel Judge]: OOC exactly how long did u wait, if at all?
[Plasticide]: 2 hours I think.
[Marvel Judge]: As you board the plane you realize that you are seated in business class, very near the rear of the plane.
[Marvel Judge]: You are seated next to nobody, but a priest is sitting across from you. The plane is far from full, with roughly 1 person in each row, on either side of the aisle. He was already seated when you started walking back to your seat. Most of the people are sitting up towards the middle and front of the plane, and first class was full.
[Plasticide]: I sit down. The worst thing that could happen is goverment blowing up the plane...
[Plasticide]: I say: "Hello," to the priest.
[Marvel Judge]: The Captain performs his pre-flight tests as the steward demonstrates the use of the safety belts as a tape plays telling you all the safety features of the plane. "Stewardess's, prepare the cabin for take-off."
[Marvel Judge]: His head is lying down on a pillow and his eyes are closed. He's got red hair, and what looks like a small potbelly. It's hard to tell how tall he is as he's not standing up. He appears to be sleeping.
[Marvel Judge]: 'Hello." he says very softly.
[Marvel Judge]: His eyes peek open.
[Plasticide]: I sit down trying to get every detail.
[Marvel Judge]: The stewards and stewardess's walk about the cabin making sure that everyone is buckled and all the bags are secure before being seated themselves while the plane takes off.
[Marvel Judge]: The take-off is kinda bumpy, but then again all take-offs and landings are bumpy. After a few moments the stewards and stewardess's get up and prepare the drink cart for serving everybody the inflight snacks.
[Plasticide]: How long will the trip take
[Marvel Judge]: typically 1 hour..
[Marvel Judge]: The plane reaches it's cruising altitude without incident. Strangely enough, the drink cart has not made its way to the back of the plane when it starts descending. You been up in the air a half hour so far, and you recall the flight lasting for a little over an hour.
[Plasticide]: I press the button to get a steward
[Marvel Judge]: A steward comes over to you,"Is there something you needed?"
[Plasticide]: "Um.. Why are we landing so early."
[Marvel Judge]: 'We're only descending to avoid an air pocket, nothing to worry about."
[Plasticide]: "And the cart is coming soon?" I ask.
[Marvel Judge]: "The drink cart should be back here in no time."
[Plasticide]: I nods, and walks into WCs.
[Marvel Judge]: WC? what is it?
[Plasticide]: Toilet
[Plasticide]: Water Closet
[Marvel Judge]: oh.. a norwegian term...
[Plasticide]: I guess so...

[Marvel Judge]: "Apparently you've been in there at least 30mins."
[Plasticide]: I go out and sits down in my seat.
[Marvel Judge]: The plan should have landed 15mins ago.

[Marvel Judge]: After another 10 mins, you hear the Captain spekaing over the speaker system.

[Marvel Judge]: "Several of you have asked why we haven't landed yet. There is a hostage situation in the Detroit Airport. We are currently in a holding pattern while it is being handled. nothing is worng with this plane. I repeat, nothing is wrong with htis plane. If we wait too much longer we'll be sent to another regional airport to land."
[Marvel Judge]: "in the meaintime, thank you for flying Continental. and thank you for staying calm."
[Plasticide]: Is there a way to get out of the plane?
[Marvel Judge]: At the planes current height and speed. no.
[Marvel Judge]: To do so would depressurize and suck everything out, including the air.
[Plasticide]: I guess I'll have to wait

[Plasticide]: I thought so with the same seat and all.
[Marvel Judge]: After an additional 30mins the plane starts descending.

[Plasticide]: "I could have stopped it," I say. "You know with my powers."
[Marvel Judge]: "The terrorists were all killed at least."
[Marvel Judge]: "There's no way you could have stopped them. You missed your flight."
[Plasticide]: "By whom," I ask.
[Plasticide]: "Actually I... Yeah I missed my flight."
[Marvel Judge]: The local authorities, with the help of the FBI, managed to get a team inside. " he pauses "But it was too late."
[Plasticide]: "It is a shame," I say thinking that once, I did the same for the goverment.
[Marvel Judge]: "Half the passengers were killed, some by friendly fire, no doubt. The crew was all killed too."
[Plasticide]: "Let's talk about something different. Why did you bring me here?" I ask hoping the answer isn't as depressing as the terrorist act.

From GOING PUBLIC ON MADISON AVENUE, an interview Mr. Madison was doing with the local media live was interrupted by Rhino, then Gabriel.
