Tek was driving the van, with Quickstrike, Rock Monster, Mike Potts as her passengers. They were heading towards the new HQ which was being constructed in Duluth, when they stumbled upon the US Army chasing what appeared to be a 12 year old girl. The Heroez stepped in, and there was a brief exchange of words. The US Army personnel backed off, after QS showed his Government ID badge. The girl revealed herself to be an alien sent to this planet to explore relations between their world and Earth. She had escaped, but her twin sister, to whom she was psychically/physically linked, was still being held at an army base not too far away. Tek, using the computer in the van she had installed, did a cursory search and found an army base close by that specialized in metahumans. The base had been built seemingly to detain metahumans. The group formulated a plan to contact the base commander, General St. John, to set up an anonymous meeting, in order to get him to surrender the sister or they would go to the media.

They set the meeting to occur within a few miles of the base in a secluded woody area. Entity contacted the group via the computer terminal as they was preparing for the meeting, warning them that the general was not to be trusted. It also asked them for help in becoming free, prior to being forced to kill its connection to the terminal. Prior to the meeting, the heroez had prepped the area by installing cameras and microphones in hidden areas. Rock & QS would meet with the general, while Tek, Mike, & the alien girl would remain in the van. General St. John arrived with several soldiers in tow, some of whom were equipped with modified nullifying guns. They only spoke briefly, before a battle broke out. While QS and Rock was battling the general and his soldiers, the ones in the van had their hands full with Major Light, an apparent US Army metahuman. Quickstrike and Rock Monster were captured by the general. Tek, Mike Potts, and Dvari barely managed to escape from Major Light. QS and Rock were taken to the base, where they were doped up, and effectively neutralized. Meanwhile, Tek had driven the beaten up van back to the estate of Adam Long, so they could regroup and formulate another plan. Tek contacted Miss M for assistance, then it was learned that Mike Potts was seemingly powerless. He had been administered a saddle block in his back that inhibited his powers during the battle with Major Light. Tek performed some impromptu surgery to remove the block in the small of his back. During this time,  QS was interrogated by General St. John, regarding the status of his file with Task Force X.

Miss M contacted Tek, letting her know a person was available to help them, and she'd meet the person at the same spot they first encountered the general. Meanwhile, Mike tried unsuccessfully to get Mr. Long to aid them directly. The group met a woman named Enigma, and a plan was formulated to simply go in through the front door, after the assorted nullifiers were disabled by the Entity. Meanwhile, General St. John set about speaking with Rock Monster, trying to persuade him to come over to his side. After Rock refused, the general set about using his own powers, making Rock face all his greatest fears, as he invaded his mind. Tek, Mike, & Enigma made their assault on the base, and Entity helped QS escape from his bonds. The group managed to free Rock, and QS found the sister of Dvari. During the assault Major Light was disabled by Tek and Mike Potts. While Enigma had the general trapped in a room, the team fled the base in the beaten up van.

The group found themselves running from the rest of the Strike Force, an apparent group of U.S. Army metahuman soldiers. Once in the van, they soon found themselves with four blown tires and surrounded by darkness. Entity was indeed present in the van's computer, as the van left. The group was shooting into the darkness, as Tek tried her best to get the van out in a hurry. Tek found herself driving into someone sporting what appeared to be a bazooka or a rocket launcher. The person missed several shots, before leaping from in front of the van. The person then started shooting at the van from behind. Tek asked Entity to start shooting the rear guns into the darkness as well. Rock, had managed to climb onto the roof of the van, in an attempt to distract those behind the van. Mike, meanwhile, was still shooting into the darkness, which the van was barely managing to outrun. Mike, used his emotion detection to create a target of the man who was firing the bazooka at the van. The man did manage to score a direct hit on the rear of the van, effectively disabling it's rear guns. He blasted away with his plasma, and the man (Tink was his named revealed OOC) blew up in a hail of blood and guts. Tek asked someone else to drive, as she set about fixing the gun, and the numerous electrical shorts inside the van. QS took the wheel, as Rock climbed back into the vehicle. While Tek was fixing some of the shorts in the dashboard, QS, distracted, ran the van hard into a tree. Tek and one of the alien girls went flying through the front windshield. They were both okay, but because of the link between the twins, both of the twins were bleeding from their heads and forearms. Rock carried the van the rest of the way to Long's estate, where they regrouped. The twins, during the entire trip to the estate had been immersed deep in what looked like prayer. At the estate, Mike set about making sure the perimeter was secure, finding himself face-to-face with Adam Long's wolves. He tried warning the wolves away with a plasma blast, and found himself being lifted from high from the ground by Mr. Long. Long warned him about touching his wolves again, then returned to the house, where he listed to classical music in an attempt to settle down. Meanwhile, the group set about trying to ensure Entity was still okay on the harddrive of the computer that was in the van. Entity was okay, but was missing some chunks of it's data, as a result of the damage the computer had taken.

Tek managed to get the Twins an audience with Georgia Governor Roy Barnes, after swapping emails with him. The Heroez were there to ensure the meeting did not have some ulterior motives.

The Heroez were present at the big news conference in downtown Atlanta, where the Twins were formally presented to the public by Gov. Roy Barnes. Also present were Vice Pres. Dick Cheney and Amanda Waller.
