ADULTS ONLY
Arania sat in the hot tub, letting the hot water swirl around her, the bubbles clinging to her breasts and arms. She sank lower into the water, eyes gazing up at the beautiful night sky. "Star light, Star bright, First star I see tonight, I wish I may, I wish I might, Have this wish I wish tonight." She laughed as the little poem from her childhood popped into her head. "And what does the lovely blue one wish?" A soft Kai voice whispered in her ear. She started, sitting up, water spraying from her hair as she whipped her head around. She almost fell over as her foot slipped, and she saw who was sitting there. It was the Kai, his clothes starting to cling to him from the dampness of the room. "I did not mean to frighten you." He reached one arm in and steadied her, so she would not hurt herself. His sleeve got soaked in the process. "Its all right, It was just so quiet, and I didnt hear you come in." She could see that there were no lights on in the rest of the house through the glass walls around the room. It was a lot later than she thought it was from the looks of it. "How have things on the Lexx been?" "They have been..typical of the life there." He sat back, relaxing. "I came to speak with you." "Sure, what can I do for you?" She climbed out of the tub and went to grab a towel, for him not her, as she was not ready to stay out of the water yet. "When we were together last, you, and previously the one known as the lioness, mentioned something about me tasting musty?" She burst into a fit of the giggles, falling over as she hit yet another wet patch, landing in his lap. "Did they have closets where you are from?" After a slight nod of affirmation, "Well, you have been in storage for a long time, and like anything you leave in a closet or drawer for too long, it smells, and would taste musty." He nodded in understanding, looking thoughtful. "Is there a way to remedy this situation?" She smiled and stood, one hand resting on his shoulder. "Take your clothes
off." An actual frown came across his handsome features. "Dont worry, youll
see why, and I promise youll enjoy it, as much as you can."
She returned shortly after carrying two separate bags. One was a black duffel bag, the other a beach bag. "The black bag is for you to take with you, theres a couple assassin
outfits, and an extra outfit for both Stan and Xev." Arania went through sniffing each one, setting it aside, murmuring to herself. "Raspberry Gardenias..must remember to give that one to Ketana ..Heather ..Sandalwood .Musk .Chocolate.." She paused, seeing a reaction from him as she opened the bottle of "Natural Spice" chocolate bubble bath. She took the bottle and walked to the edge of the hot tub, pouring in some. Foam rose to the surface, and scented the air strongly. Kais eyes watched her every movement as she walked over to the tub, dropping the towel on the floor, and stepped into the large tub. "Take the robe off and join me," She offered, closing her eyes as she relaxed in the heat. Shortly after she felt him sliding in beside her, and she turned to look at him. He sat there with his hair unbound, white skin glistening from the moisture in the room clinging to him. She took in the sight, and found it hard not to sink into the water. "Is there something wrong?" He asked, leaning in close to her, as he noticed this. "Nothing at all, I..was just enjoying this." She smiled, weak in the knees as he sat beside her. She reached for a soft sponge, in the shape of a Hersheys kiss, and the shower gel that matched the bubble bath. Scooting in behind him, she poured a generous amount of the gel on the sponge, squishing it in her hand as she started to wash him, hands caressing as they slipped over his skin. He hung his head forward, long hair hiding his face as her fingertips ran over the scars in his flesh. She tenderly traced them, humming softly as she bathed his skin, slipping her arms around him to wash his chest, closing her eyes and enjoying the feel of his skin. As she dipped the sponge in the water and squeezed it out over his head, she whispered a soft warning not to breathe, before starting the song again, this time singing very softly. (Not That Different by Collin Raye) She said, "We're much too different. We're from two separate worlds." And he admitted she was partly right. But in his heart's defense, he told her what they had in common was strong enough to bond them for life. He said, "Look behind your own soul and the person that you'll see just might remind you of me. (Chorus) I laugh, I love, I hope, I try. I hurt I need, I fear, I cry. And I know you do the same things, too. So we're really not that different, me and you." Now she could hardly argue with his pure and simple logic, but logic never could convince a heart. She had always dreamed of loving someone more exotic, and he just didn't seem to fit the part. So she searched for greener pastures, but never could forget what he whispered when she left. I laugh, I love, I hope, I try. I hurt I need, I fear, I cry. And I know you do the same things, too. So we're really not that different, me and you." Was it time, or was it truth? Maybe both led her back to his door. And as her tears fell at his feet, she didn't say 'I love you,' what she said meant even more... I laugh, I love, I hope, I try. I hurt I need, I fear, I cry. And I know you do the same things, too. So we're really not that different, me and you."
She smiled gently as she washed his hair, fingers running through the tangles as she rinsed it. He was amazingly relaxed under her touch, and she gently brushed his hair away from his face, burying her nose in the black silk before her. "You smell much better now. You can come back whenever you want to get cleaned up,
Stan and Xev dont have to know." He nodded, turning around to face her. "Thank you. I hope this pleases you, and will do as you ask." She smiled and turned to dig into her bag once more. "I did bring something else down Will you share it with me, I was going to eat it anyway." She pulled out a small box of mint chocolates, opening it and setting it on the edge, pulling out a piece and offering it to him. He knelt in close, taking the candy with his lips before wrapping his strong arms around her and kissing her. The warmth from the room, and both of them melted the chocolate and it ran down the sides of their tongues as they entwined sharing the sweet and spicy taste. Through the rest of the box they repeated the process over and over, save for the last piece. This one he trailed over her neck and shoulders, letting it melt on her skin before gently cleaning her up with his lips and tongue. He nibbled at her neck slightly before reclaiming her mouth in a toe curling kiss that left her panting for air. He then rose from the tub, his long hair clinging to his back, as he climbed the stairs out of the water. She watched him as he toweled himself dry, and passed him a sturdy brush so he could fix his hair, her head resting on her arms at the edge of the water as she admired his form. He picked up the bag and walked back close to her, kneeling and looking into her eyes. "I thank you again, I will be back." He gave her one last deep kiss before walking out into the night. She melted into the tub, holding her breath for as long as she could before running outside and flying to Sparrows room, where she released the good tensions that had built up.
