 The Birthday Surprise PG
Mus woke his love with gentle kisses
and caresses. She yawned and stretched lazily, smiling as she slowly, very slowly, opened
her eyes. Giggling softly, she pulled him under the covers and took advantage of their
location. Hours later, they dressed, eyes and faces glowing from their morning enjoyment.
"Arania, love, I have something special planned today." He grinned like the
Cheshire cat, and wrapped his arms around her from behind. "We need to swing by kitty
and fera's though, I need to get something from there. She nodded, and looked at the box
sitting on her dresser. "Please wear that for me my love."
A few hours later, Arania sat on Merl's back, while Mus held his lead, she was
blindfolded, in spite of her complaints.
"MUS! Last time you did this to me you know what happened." She frowned, almost
pouting.
"My Love, do not worry, I learned my lesson then, I promise you will enjoy my
plans." He smiled and started leading Merl into the woods, staying out of reach of
his long nose as warned.
She sat relaxed on the sturdy back of the horse, enjoying the sounds and scents as they
traveled through the woods, till she heard the gurgling sound of a small river, and the
rustling of the leaves faded into the warmth of the sun on her back. She was lifted off
the horse by the strong arms of her love, and laid onto a soft blanket. She luxuriated in
the sun, stretching, the short sundress he had picked out for her clinging to her body. A
short bit later he joined her, gently removing the blindfold, and she looked around.
They lay together in a clearing surrounded by rose bushes and trees, a single path leading
away. A stream gurgled and whispered it's way through the clearing, the breeze carrying
the scent of the cool clean water to them. There by the edge of the stream sat a blanket,
covered in dishes of food, all of her favorites, and a tall bottle of wine, the blood red
color reflecting and glinted in the sun, which shone from a blue sky the same color as
Arania's skin. She smiled and turned to him, gifting him with a passionate kiss as he
whispered in her ear.
"Happy birthday my beautiful blue one."
He fed her the last bite of the chicken as she laid across his lap. She swallowed it and
half dozed in the warm sun for a while before jumping up and stripping herself of the
clinging cloth, and leaping into the water. As she surfaced, she grinned at him, splashing
him.
"Come in love, the water's not that deep." He nodded and quickly divested his
own clothing and joined her in romping in the water, his eyes admiring her small form. The
water glistened off her naked flesh, reflecting the light like thousands of small jewels,
blue and white flashing as she swam up to him. His desire for her grew, until he took her
in his arms and...

A short while after sunset, she lay with her head in his lap, clothes still in a pile
beside them, her body relaxed. He whispered quietly to her, pointing out the stars, and
her constellation, Virgo. He watched her eyes close before pulling something from a pocket
in his crumpled tunic, and pressed it to her lips. Her mouth opened eagerly for her treat,
relishing the taste of the blend of chocolate and caramel as it melted on her tongue
before leaning up to him and sharing the taste with him, their tongue entwining, bodies
wrapped around each other. They held the kiss and each other long into the night, until
exhaustion won out over her and she fell asleep there in his loving, protective embrace
